Look at these morons… How stupid do you have to be to think setting yourself on fire is cool?
I always used to think that those disclaimers on TV were stupid… you know, the ones that say “Don’t try this at home.” I thought it was insulting that the TV stations really thought the audience was so dumb, they’d do everything they see on TV.
Well, then came Jackass. A show about morons doing moronic things. And I guess that filled a niche market. It provided much needed(?) entertainment to millions of morons who couldn’t wait to try at home what they saw on TV.
So, looks like those TV disclaimers had a point after all. Never underestimate the stupidity of teenagers.
